Steven Downey

Downey, Steven William - Age 61, of Flint Township, died November 26, 2019. No public services will be held at this time. A celebration of his life will be held late spring or early summer. Steven was born September 14, 1958 in Flint, the son of William T. Downey and Patricia Ann Castles. He married Kasey Craddock on May 27, 2018. Steven worked as a union carpenter and project manager. He also worked for Epcot Center in Florida. Steven has definitely left his mark in and around the Genesee County area. He had many special friends. Steven loved his motorcycle and especially his springer spaniel Ted. He was an avid outdoorsman. Steven was a member of the Genesee County Sheriff's Posse Mounted Division. He loved horses and was involved with Genesee County 4-H. Steven is survived by his wife: Kasey; 2 children, Douglas and Andrew; sister, Cheryl (Wayne) Mahan; sister-in-law, Diane; beloved brother-in-law,Wayne; father, William T. Downey Jr.; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Lindsay Parker. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; brother, Michael.
