Steven Bigger

BIGGER, Steven Jay - age 64 passed away on March 16, 2021. He was born September 26, 1956 in Wayne, Michigan and raised in Flint, MI. He was a life long resident of Michigan. A memorial service will be held at Asbury Methodist Church 1653 Davison Rd, Flint MI on May 22, 2021 at 1:00PM Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. He is the son of William and Virginia (Stokes) Bigger. Steven was a graduate of Flint Central High School class of 1974. Steven was accepted to Western Michigan University and during his tenure he played for the Broncos collegiate hockey team. While at Western Michigan University he discovered his love for radio and began working for the campus radio station as a "DJ". While gaining much experience and knowledge he made his way back to Flint, MI and worked for many local radio stations across the greater Flint airwaves through the 80’s, 90’s and early 00’s. Later in life he earned his Paralegal degree from Northwood University. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Steven will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Steven leaves behind his only child, son, Preston (Chelsea) and 2 granddaughters Evelyn and Addison. He also leaves behind the love of his life Terri Ward and her 4 daughters. He loved them and cherished the time with them always. He was proceeded in death by his Father William Bigger, grandmother. Donations can be made to Virginia Bigger who was his heart and soul.
