Wielichowski, Steve, age 74, of Fenton formerly of Livonia, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton. Burial in Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery, Livonia. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Make-a-Wish Foundation. Steve was born October 3, 1935 in Detroit, the son of the late Steve Thomas and Annie Iona (Black) Wielichowski. He married Barbara Frizzell on May 26, 1956 and she preceded him in death on July 6, 2009. Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korea War. Steve was employed by Dean Foods in Machine Repair for 20 years until his retirement. Surviving are: 2 children, Julie Ann (Kim) Stanley of Unionville, TN and Steve (Monica) Wielichowski of Fenton; 5 grandchildren, Andy, Adam, Tommy, Kaitlyn and Claire; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Billings (Leonard) of Phoenix, AZ; many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death and 3 brothers, Anthony, Richard and Walter; and sister, Diana Dailey. Online tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
