Varney, Stephen T. - Age 73, of Fenton, died May 3, 2024. No services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.

Stephen was born March 3, 1951 in Glens Falls, New York, the son of Ace B. Varney and Jean (LaBelle) Varney. He married Deborah Witt on September 19, 1971; she preceded him in death on May 31, 2023. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker in the manufacturing industry for over 40 years.

Surviving are: three children Erik (Emily) Varney of Flint, Rachael Varney-Bandy of Flint; Regina Varney of Lapeer; grandchildren, Chaze (Samantha) Jones, Hailey Varney, Jonas Melton, James Varney, Libby Sigsby, EllyMay Sigsby and Kathleen Varney; great-grandchildren, Carter Jones, Xabrie and Octavia Jones; sisters, Marsha Mullaly and Joanne Varney-Kondrat; nieces and nephews.
