Stephen Louis Pastor

Stephen Louis Pastor, 95, of Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, February 27th, 2025. 

Stephen was born September 22nd, 1929, in Daisy Town, Pennsylvania, to Louis and Helen (Krishan) Pastor. 

After graduating from Northern High School in 1948, Stephen worked as a Machinist for Buick Motor Division, and at the age of 21 enlisted in the Air Force. He was stationed in Bermuda from 1950 – 1954 and was honorably discharged. 

After his service, Stephen continued an apprenticeship at Buick where he went on to receive a degree in Mechanical Engineering and quickly advanced to a Supervisory role. 

Stephen is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dolores; children, Stephen Pastor, Diane (Clark) Benson; siblings Julie (Jack) Williams, and Louis (Eileen) Pastor. He is preceded in death by parents, Louis and Helen Pastor; siblings, Helen McCarney, and Alex Pastor. 

The family is also sending a heartfelt thank you to Families’ Angels and Absolute Hospice (Heather, Shorty, Holly, Heather, Amy, Gabby and Sheila).

 A small, private service will be held at a future date for the immediate family. Stephen will be laid to rest at New Calvary Mortuary.
