HODGES, Stephen Austin, age 46, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Buffalo, New York, while vacationing. Services will be held 11AM Friday, July 29, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Blanc. Pastor Steven Maske officiating. Visitation will be held 1-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Stephen A. Hodges Memorial Fund. Steve was born January 6, 1965 in Flint. He enjoyed cooking, boating, socializing, telling stories and playing the guitar. Prior to caring for his daughters, Steve was a car salesman in the Flint and surrounding areas for many years. Surviving are; three daughters, Amanda, Kayla and Hannah Hodges all of Grand Blanc; brothers Kevin Hodges of Flint and Drew Schwartz of FL; sisters Karen Schmidt Behnke of Lennon, Stacey Hodges of AZ, Gizela Schwartz of Flint, Sharise Schwartz of Flint, Heather Donastorg of Grand Blanc; fiancee Rachele Janz of Waterford; former wife, Sherry Hodges of Grand Blanc ; many nieces and nephews. he was preceded in death by his parents.
