Star Ann Ryder

Ryder, Star Ann - Age 76, of Owosso, died January 23, 2025. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to The National Kidney Foundation. Star was born February 8, 1948 in Flint, the daughter of Robert and Lois (Duff) Setzer. She was a graduate of Birch Run High School. Star worked at Meijer for 30 years, most recently the Meijer in Corunna, before retirement. She is survived by two children, Kevin Ryder of Durand, Jason (Tanya) Ryder of Fairfax, Virginia; grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Emily, Sarah, Austin, Evan, Sabrina, Samantha, Spencer, Kristopher and Claire; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Holbin, Shirli Wohlfeil, Shelly (Brian) White; brother, Michael (Ruth) Setzer; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Setzer; many nieces and nephews.
