NOWAK, Stanley Joseph - age 77, of Fenton, died May 30, 2022. A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, July 2, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment of cremated remains will follow at St. John Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Saturday, July 2, 2022. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John Educational Foundation (www.stjohnfenton.org/foundation.html) or the National Psoriasis Foundation (www.psoriasis.org). Stanley was born October 28, 1944 in Saginaw, the son of Stanley and Helen (Gajewski) Nowak. He was a 1962 graduate of Saginaw High School and received a bachelor degree from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University). Stan married Joyce Piesko in 1965. He was a mechanical engineer and manager at General Motors for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a caring man who loved his family and friends dearly. Surviving are: wife of 57 years, Joyce Nowak; daughter, Dawn (Matthew) Mudie of Wixom; son, Bill (Barbara) Nowak of South Lyon; four grandchildren, Ian and Colin Mudie and Sophie and Ben Nowak; sister, Pat Kubczak; two sisters-in-law, Delores Berta and Shirley Richie; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Lottie Piesko; and sister, Florence Sonnenberg. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W.
