Stanley Peter DELECKI

DELECKI, Stanley Peter - age 92, of Fenton, died Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday and 4-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday and from 10:00 AM until time of Mass Friday at church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign. Mr. Delecki was born October 19, 1919 in Flint, the son of Albert and Sophie (Greber) Delecki. He married Anna Veronica Santa on May 11, 1946 and she preceded him in death on April 21, 2011. Mr. Delecki was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. He retired from Buick Motor Division as an inspector in 1980 after 34 years of service. Mr. Delecki was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, U.A.W. Local 599, Fenton VFW Curtis Wolverton Post 3243 and Dom Polski. Surviving are: 4 children, Nancy Williams and husband Ronald of Fenton Township, Dr. Chris Delecki and wife Bonnie of Seattle, WA, Tony Delecki and wife Lori of Fenton and Matt Delecki and wife Cheryl of Fenton; 12 grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Williams, Timothy Williams (fiancee, Jaime Kapala), Brian (Erin) Williams, Zachary (Chelsie) Delecki, Lindsay (Eric Zenoni) Delecki, Kevin (Courtney) Delecki, Everett Delecki, Alex Delecki, Ryan Delecki, Carli Delecki, Elise Delecki, Marissa Delecki; 10 great grandchildren.
