Stanley P. DAVIS

DAVIS, Stanley P., age 88, of Burton, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2009. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Monday, December 7, 2009 at Elba Cemetery, Elba. Arrangements are by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. Stanley was born in Detroit the son of Frank M. and Marguerite (McDonald) Davis. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, recieving a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star among other medals. He had retired from G. M., the Grand Blanc Tank Plant and had attended the Genesee Road Church of God. Surviving are two sons; Lee R. Brewer and Jerry F. Brewer, a daughter Denyce J. Davis, 7 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth F. Davis in 2005.
