Stanley Pharis BoBo

BoBo, Stanley Pharis - Age 97, of Linden, died Monday, May 24, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 806 Main St., Fenton, with Pastor Dean Dumbrille officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Trinity Lutheran Church or Leader Dogs for the Blind. Mr. BoBo was born December 8, 1912 in Tustin, the son of Charles Wesley and Augusta M. (Thomas) BoBo. He married Alice Marie Becker September 11, 1937 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He had lived in Linden since 1959 coming from Flint. Mr. BoBo retired from GM Chevrolet Engine Plant after 45 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: wife, Alice Marie; 3 children, Dennis and wife Kathryn BoBo of Burton, Dwight and wife JoAnn BoBo of Flushing and Diane and husband Bill Storm of Clarkston; daughter-in-law, Judy BoBo of Linden; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
