ALDRICH, Stanley Tom "Hank" - Age 90, of Fenton, died Friday, January 26, 2018 . Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Burial in Tyrone Memory Gardens, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM, where a V.F.W. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden V.F.W. Price-Crane-Robinson Post #4642. Stanley was born August 2, 1927 in Detroit, the son of Fred and Bessie (Cleckner) Aldrich. He was a 1945 graduate of Linden High School and served an apprenticeship at GMI. He served in the USNR from May 1945-July 1946, Fireman, First Class on Air Craft Carrier US#122 Palau. He served in the U.S. Army from September 1950-July 1952 as a Combat Medic serving in Korea from April 1951-February 1952.. Stanley married Patricia Hatfield March 8, 1952 and she preceded him in death December 24, 2000. He was a lifelong resident of the Fenton/Linden area. He retired in 1980 from GM Buick Motors after 34 years of service. Stanley was a life member of the Linden V.F.W. Price-Crane-Robinson Post #4642. He is survived by: daughters, Barbara (Dr. William) Dery of Midland, Janice (Donald) Reed of Linden, Margaret Aldrich of Fenton, and Stanette (Donald) Albright of Orlando, FL; son, Thomas Aldrich of Linden; grandchildren, Melissa (Brendan) Jonland, Michelle Reed, Jordan (Ryan) Fernandes, Michael Dery, Brieanna (Tony) Green; great granddaughter's, Kylie and Imogan; sisters-in-law, Marilyn King of Fenton, Kathleen Cauley of Grand Blanc, and Sandra (Park) Des Ormeau of Grand Blanc; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Mert, Fred, and David Aldrich; sister, Betty Imhof; sister-in-law, Mary Helen Hatfield; and brothers-in-law, Robert and Raymond Hatfield.
