Staff Sgt. Ergin OSMAN

OSMAN, SSgt. Ergin Vidot - age 35, died May 26, 2011 in Kandahar Afghanistan while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Services will be held 12 PM Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Sheikh Saeed Saad officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Ergin was born August 2, 1975 and attended Sterling Heights High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1997-2007 and the U.S. Army since 2007. Surviving are: wife, PFC Kristin Osman; two sons, Aidan and Zeren Osman; mother, Zehra Osman; father, Mustafa Osman; sister, Leyla (Anthony) Balaskas; niece, Ayshe Balaskas; nephew, Tony Balaskas.
