ALTERMAN, Sosya Abramovna - Age 68, of Flint Township, died Thursday, May 14, 2015. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2015 at the chapel at Machpaleh Cemetery, 4615 Branch Road, Flint. Rabbi Yisroel Weingarten officiating. Burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Sosya was born November 27, 1946 in Kishinev, Moldova the daughter of Abram and Pesya (Vaserman) Bulishtein. She married Aron Alterman in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2004. She had resided in Flint Township for the past 18 years coming from Kishinev, Moldova. She was a member of Chabat House. Surviving are: son, David and wife Vicky Alterman of Grand Blanc; daughter, Polina and husband Michael Bemis of Wolverine Lake; 4 grandchildren, Eva Alterman, Eugena Kucherenko, Abbie Alterman, and Aaron Kucherenko; sisters, Olga Gershkovich and Zinaeda Muntian both of Israel; and several nieces and nephews.
