Sondra was born September 18, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Harry and Roberta (Besson) Gramer. She graduated from Flint Northern and Technical High School. Later Sondra received her Associates Degree from Mott Community College. She was employed at Citizens Bank for 35 years. Sondra was a member of The American Business Women's Association, and The Windmill Women's Club. She was a professional dancer for many years and loved tap dancing the most. She was an avid reader, loved to shop, and she enjoyed watching her favorite game shows. She was quite the "Glamour Girl" and didn't leave home without stylish clothes and matching jewelry.
Sondra is survived by her seven children - Jeff (Cathy) Bailey, Scott (Tracy) Bailey, Todd (Chrissy) Bailey, Stacy (John) Seeley, Chris (Tasha) Horwath, Angie (Joe) Pisasale, and Michael (Janie) Horwath; twenty-one grandchildren - Andrea, Adam, Chase, Hunter, Krista, Sari, Brendan, Alec, Nathan, Allison, Madelyn, Tyler, Kayli, Caden, Brooks, Skyelar, Evan, Haley, Leticcia, Alicia, and Ella; five great grandchildren - James, Jack, Jackson, Amelia, and Silas; siblings - Sharon Burdt, Dennis Gramer, and Gary (Lori) Gramer; several nieces and nephews; and her four pet cats - Momma Kitty, Kalvin, Ruby, and Kaleb. Sondra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary Horwath; sister Shelly Gramer-Ryan; and infant son, Michael Dean Bailey.
Sondra was sassy, stubborn, fun, and loyal. She was incredibly generous and took great joy in giving gifts to those she loved. She was an exceptional mother and an even better grandmother. She prioritized her family and established strong relationships with all of her family members. She loved to watch her grandkids play sports and was a strong presence at their games, wrestling meets, and important events. She especially loved watching her granddaughters dance. In addition to her family, Sondra enjoyed spending time with her many treasured friends.
Sondra’s passing has left an unfillable void, but her family is grateful for the years they shared with this remarkable woman.
