RIGGS, Simon B. - Age 75, of Linden, passed away, September 28, 2021. A memorial gathering will be held 2:30PM-5PM Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at 11 AM Thursday, October 14, 2021. Those desiring may make contributions to World Central Kitchen or Food Bank of Eastern Michigan.. Simon was born July 23, 1946 in Long Beach, CA, the son of William Robert and Florence E. (Marvel) Riggs. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Vietnam. Mr. Riggs retired from General Motors. He was a private pilot and enjoyed golfing and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; children, Sara Bishop and Scott Riggs; grandchildren, Harrison, Marshall, Oli, Carson and Chelsea; sister, Ann Kagen.
