Silverius Hugh, 'Sil' WISCHMEYER

WISCHMEYER, Silverius Hugh, "Sil" age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010. A funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Thursday, June 10, 2010 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be from 1-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Wednesday at funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice. Sil was born in Sheperd, Michigan the son of Harry and Emma (Wieferich) Wischmeyer. He married Betty Barker April 19, 1952 in Mt. Pleasant. Sil retired from the Swartz Creek Elevator in 1999, was a veteran of the US Army, having served in WWII and Korea, and was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Church. Surviving are, his wife Betty, children, Brenda, Marlene and husband Brent, Alan, Denise and husband Gary, Kelly, Annette and late husband Tony, 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
