LYNCH, Shon Paul - Age 36, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Fenton died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at his residence from complications after surgery. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 Pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Shon Paul Lynch Memorial Fund. Shon was born June 25, 1968 in Flint, the son of Paul and Charlotte (Montgomery) Lynch. He had lived in the Fenton area his entire life. Shon was a 1986 graduate of Fenton High School and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was an excellent musician, performing with Gasoline and Spirit Bone with his childhood friends. He was also currently employed at Lakeside Services. Shon was a student of Nursing at Mott Community College, where he recently received the collegiate All-American Scholar Award. He was proud to have celebrated his third year of sobriety on November 15, 2004. Surviving are: mother, Charlotte; daughter, Cali Noelle Lynch of Flint; sister, Kim and husband, Rich Buehler of Toledo, OH; two uncles, Charles and wife, Pat Montgomery of Linden, Robert Montgomery of Grand Blanc; many other relatives and friends.
