MORGAN, Shirley Yvonne - Age 84, of Flushing, died Thursday September 2, 2021. Funeral services will be held 12:30PM Wednesday September 8, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Aaron Whitman officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc.. Visitation will be held 10:30AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Shirley was born February 3, 1937 in Union City, TN, the daughter of William and Rubye (Eves) Wyrick. She married William H. Morgan in Ypsilanti on April 4, 1953 and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1993. Shirley cherished spending time with her family and dear friends. She loved gardening, cooking, crafts and the company of her K-9 companion Louie. Shirley retired from Sears with many years of service. Surviving are: daughter, Deborah McArthur of Grand Blanc; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents, William Wyrick and Rubye (Wyrick) Meece; son, David Morgan; daughter, Sherri Morgan and sister, JoAnn Szabo.
