Shirley Wiess

WIESS, Shirley Eleanor - age 89, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, April 22, 2017. Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org). Mrs. Wiess was born December 18, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of Hector J. and Frances (Kunkel) Bourdeaux. She married Norman Wiess on February 20, 1954 and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1996. She retired from Gardner Industries as their office manager and was a member of the St. John's Bowling team in Fenton. Surviving are: son, James (Pat) Wiess of Grand Blanc; daughter, Sharon (Gregory) Matkovich of Swartz Creek; granddaughter, Jessica (Albert) Yogues of NJ; three grandsons, Gregory (Joanne) Matkovich of FL, Jonathan (Meica) Matkovich of FL, and Mark (Jessica) Matkovich of CT.
