SULLIVAN, Shirley - Age 86, of West Branch, formerly of Kingston, New Haven, and Marysville, died Saturday, January 29, 2022. The daughter of Orrie and Dorothy Reimann, Shirley was raised in Kingston where her parents owned and operated the Dairy Bar for nearly 30 years. She married John Kitts, and he preceded her in death. After she married Donald Paul Sullivan, the family moved to New Haven and later to Marysville. Donald preceded her in death October 6, 2013.
Shirley was an avid and accomplished quilter who appliqueand quilting stitch were second to none, and she was a talented china painter. Shirley enjoyed countless rounds of golf with her children and husband, Don. She liked to boast that over her golfing years, she carded three holes-in-one at her Lakeland, FL home where she spent many winters.
Surviving are: her children, Corinne (Nelson) Williams of Saline, Cathy (Thomas) Wierzbicki of Hudson, FL, James (Sandra) Kitts of Flushing, and Jon Paul (Sally) Kitts of Greenville, SC; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Donald David Sullivan; and daughter, Tina Kitts-Broderick; and brother Robert Reimann.
Services will be held 4PM Sunday February 6 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek , Visitation will be 2PM until time of service Sunday at the funeral home . Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
