Shirley Jean SLOVER

SLOVER, Shirley Jean, age 86, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Heritage Manor, Flint. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Rev. John Ferris officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hope United Methodist Church, Flint. Shirley was born December 10, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of the late Elvin and Lelah (Wilkins) Slover. She was employed by Genesee County as a Comptometer in the Controllers office until retirement. Shirley was also a volunteer for the voting bureau and a member of Hope United Methodist Church in Flint. Surviving are special cousins, Barbara and Robert Kramb of St. Clair Shores, Frederick Alter of Harrison Twp, Ruthann and Andy Ulicne of Holly, Kim (Aaron) Steele, Nancy (Chad) Moyer of Columbus, OH, Mike (Jan) Kramb of Clarkston, Susan Shults. She was also preceded in death by her aunt, Muriel Wilkins, cousins, Gary Shults, Elba and husband, Leonard Alter, Patty Kramb.
