Shirley Pfeiffer

PFEIFFER, Shirley, age 62, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, January 06, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday, January 10, 2005 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek, Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant.  Interment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint.  Visitation will be held from 5  9 pm Friday and 1-4 and 6-9 pm Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.  A Prayer Service will be held 7 pm Sunday, followed by a Knights of Columbus Rosary Service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.  Mrs. Pfeiffer was born February 9, 1942 in Flint, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Getcy.  She married Carl F. Pfeiffer in 1959 in Flint and was a graduate of Ainsworth High School in 1975.  Mrs. Pfeiffer is survived by:  husband Carl F. of Swartz Creek; daughter Pamela Lynne Pfeiffer-Waack of Flint Twp.; sons Carl Jr. and wife Lori of Linden, Timothy Scott and wife Pamela of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Michael and wife Julie of Durand; grandchildren Justin, Stacey, Jared, Andrew, Jesse, Rachael, Delaney, Madeline; brother Frank Getcy and wife Joyce of Lennon; sister Maraline Foster and husband Merle of Crystal, MI; several nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Pfeiffer was preceded in death by her parents.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute for the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
