PETRUCHA, Shirley Ann - Age 74 of Swartz Creek died Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center in Flint. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Jim Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the National Kidney Foundation. Shirley was born September 15, 1939 in Flint, the daughter of Carman and Nola (Bass) Hunt. Mrs. Petrucha graduated valedictorian of Swartz Creek High School in 1957 and later worked over 40 years for Chase Bank. She married Edward Petrucha on September 30, 1957 in New York City, NY, and lived most of her life in Swartz Creek. Surviving are: husband Edward Petrucha; son Michael Petrucha of Houghton Lake; brothers-in-law, Richard (Peg) Petrucha of St. Charles, and John (Ginger) Petrucha of Swartz Creek; sisters-in-law, Shirley Hunt, Jerri (Joe) Hulubik of Hemlock, Linda (Mark) Salazar of Lennon; and many nieces and nephews.
