Montpas, Shirley Jean - Age 79, of Fenton, died April 12, 2024. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, April 22, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Committal service following at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM on Monday, April 22. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
Shirley was born October 2, 1944 in Gideon, Missouri, the daughter of Edgar and Hazel (Miller) Adkins. She married Norman Joseph Montpas on July 25, 1975. Shirley had worked for Kroger and then Ascension Genesys.
Surviving are: husband of 49 years, Norman; daughter Sarah Montpas; sister Cynthia (Frank) Cherveny; many in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother Charlie Adkins.
