HOLDERBAUM, Shirley Marie, Age 73, of Homosassa, FL formerly of Grand Blanc, died January 27, 2005 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Chaplin David Roose officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Shirley was born July 3, 1931 in Flint, the daughter of Nelson and Rose Marie (Ade) Grumley. She had resided in Homosassa, FL the past 17 years, coming from Grand Blanc. She married Herbert L. Holderbaum February 24, 1951 in Jeffersonville, IN. Shirley was an avid golfer, a former member of Atlas Valley Country Club and she also enjoyed bowling and gardening. Shirley was a real loving, kind hearted and generous person, whose purpose in life was to please others. She enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren about nature. Surviving are husband of nearly 54 years, Herbert; 5 children, Deborah and husband LeRoy Ward of Fenton, Rick Holderbaum and Robin VanKuren of Davison, Randy Holderbaum and Penny Daluz of Florida, Rodney Holderbaum of Florida, Russell and wife Lisa Holderbaum of Fenton; grandchildren, Jason (Karen) Bellinger, Brandon Bellinger, Missy Ward, Casey Holderbaum, Danny Holderbaum, Randi Holderbaum, Samantha Holderbaum, Hannah Holderbaum, Brittany Holderbaum, Michael Holderbaum, Tricia Holderbaum, Shea Holderbaum, Cody Holderbaum, Mollie Holderbaum, Andrew (Cristie) Walden, Katie Walden, Cody Elliott, Ryan VanKuren; great-grandson, Kyler Darling; 2 sisters,Madeline Patchett of Davison, Barbara (Lawrence) Vincent of Fenton; 4 brothers, Lovell (Nancy) Grumley of Lennon, John (Julia) Grumley of Cedar, Charles (Vicki) Grumley of Cedar, Keith (Katie) Taylor of Lennon, sister-in-law, Louise (James) Allen of Nevada; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Mollie Rose Holderbaum; 2 sisters-in-law, Vivian Curran and Shirley Pomeroy.
