HAWKS, Shirley Ann -- age 84, of Swartz Creek died Friday August 24 2012. Services will be held 1 PM Friday August 31, 2012 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, with Rev. Don Neuville officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton Adopt-A-Pet. Shirley was born November 7, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of Vern Sharrer and Beatrice(Ladderoot)Sharrer. She had worked for Citizens Bank for 20 years and handled the accounting for her husband, Alfred Hawks, business. She loved animals. Shirley is survived by daughter Kim of Swartz Creek: son Brad of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Rachel and Dillon; 1 great-grandchild Colton; and sister Janet Richardson.
