Shirley Haase

Haase, Shirley Jean (Moleski), age 83 of Fenton, passed away on January 4, 2023. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Trinity Lutheran Church located at 1025 Main Street, Fenton, Michigan. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service and a funeral luncheon in the church community center will follow the service. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Haase to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the Fenton Area Resource Referral (FARR). Shirley is survived by her children, Dina (Steve Moore) Haase; Dean (Deanna Cypher) Haase and Denise (Spencer Hurd) Haase. Grandchildren, Jovan, Kurt, Megan (Dustin) and MacKenzie (Steve). Great-grandchildren, Emma, Wesley and Zofia. Sister, Barbara Reed. Shirley was born on October 29, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to the late Julius John and Clara Annabelle (Malorey) Moleski. She is best described as a kind, fun, loving strong woman with a fierce love for her family. She had a huge heart and had an open door, often taking in those who needed a place to call home. Shirley was a woman of faith who enjoyed camping, watching freighters from the shore, playing cards and music (especially Bob Segar, Kid Rock and Motown). She cherished time spent with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by many. Mrs. Haase was preceded in death by her parents, husband, August "Sonny" and her brother, Jule "Bud" Moleski.
