COTTERMAN, Shirley Maxine - Age 83, of Grand Blanc, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Genesys Hospice Care, Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Shirley was born April 27, 1926 in Flint, the daughter of Frederick and Lulu (Howell) Soderblom. She married John A. Cotterman February 8, 1947 in Flint and he preceded her in death November 20, 2003. She was a member of the Fenton V.F.W. Auxillary Post #3243. Surviving are: 5 children, Linda and husband Tracy Anthony of Holly, Fred Cotterman of Grand Blanc, Cindy and husband Jim Ford of Flint, John and wife Patricia Cotterman of Colorado Springs, CO, Gail and husband Greg Greer of Austin, TX; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Norma Rose of Flushing and Beverly Fisher of Owosso; several nieces and nephews.
