Shirley Ruth Carter

CARTER, Shirley Ruth - Age 84, of Flint, died Friday, March 7, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 1:30PM Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, MIller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Fr. David Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Argentine Care Center. Shirley was born February 22, 1924 in Hancock, Michigan the daughter of Fred and Gladys (Kitto) Rundel. Surviving are 3 children, Bruce Randolph and wife Debrah Carter of Jacksonville, FL, Sheilah Lee and husband Christopher Combs of Hudson, FL, Marc Andrew and wife Lauren Carter of Mt. Pleasant; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Jeanne Alvord of Washington State. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Luella Holevar and brother, John "Jackie" Frederick Rundel.
