Blasie, Shirley Sarah ï¿Â½" Age 96 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away Friday April 29, 2011 in Hospice of J.F.K. Hospital in Atlantis, Florida. Services will be help 11AM Friday, May 6, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 100 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Larry W. McMellen. Internment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton. Visitation will be held 5-7PM Thursday also at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the JFK Hospital, Hospice Division, 5301 S. Congress Ave., Atlantis FL 33462. A native of Michigan Shirley resided in Fenton, Michigan for 38 years and subsequently moved to Stuart, Florida in 1988. Shirley is pre-deceased by her husband of 69 years John William Blasie. Survivors include: 2 sons, Dr. J. Kent Blasie and his wife Connie of Philadelphia, PA, and Scott William Blasie and his wife Tina of Lake Worth, FL. Shirley led a very full life spending her time raising her family, sharing time with family and friends, caring for her parents and other loved ones, playing tennis and traveling.
