Shirley Marie Beckwith

Beckwith, Shirley Marie - Age 97, of  Swartz Creek, passed away and Heaven gained an angel on July 23, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Friday July 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Randy "Doc" Johnson officiating. (The funeral service may be viewed by live stream at Mrs. Beckwith's page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Interment will follow privately at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday July 27; and 12:30 until the time of the funeral at 1:30 on Friday July 28. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to the charity of choice. 
Shirley was born July 9, 1926 at home in Mundy Township the daughter of Elmer E. and Clarinda (Burnham) Vincent. She retired having worked in the lunchroom for Swartz Creek Community Schools for many years. Mrs. Beckwith enjoyed Bingo, crafts, bowling and playing cards. She loved her family and her grandkids. 
Surviving are: three children, Robert (Lana) Beckwith of Swartz Creek, David (Annette) Beckwith of Swartz Creek, Donna (Bryan) Fox of Grand Banc; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gerri Church and Eunice (Cliff) Golden; many nieces and nephews; and many friends from American House. . She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Louis Beckwith; two daughters, Cheryl and Judy; daughters-in-law, Nann and Carolyn; siblings, John,  Mary, Elaine,  Richard, Frances, Lawrence, Arlene, and Elmer.
