Bain, Shirley Ann - Age 86 of Swartz Creek, died January 6, 2018. Funeral Service will be held 1PM Friday, January 12, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Ron Brooks, officiating. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8PM Thursday and 11-1PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to Jacobs Ladder 5296 Warwick Trail, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. Shirley was born in Flint, Michigan on June 25, 1931 to Henry and Iva (Hankins) Smith. She married Edward A. Bain in Elizabeth City, NC on July 11, 1970. She worked production for General Motors. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Burton and enjoyed crocheting, reading and word searches. Surviving are children; James Bain, Connie Tacey, Bonnie Paladino, Daniel (Jill) Bain, Connie (Ron) Adams, Ron (Tammy) Bain, Robin(Gordon) Brown, Dawn Tacey, Johnice (Mitch) Chapman, Kelly (Jack) Jones, Mike (Irene) Tacey, Billy Bain and Ray Bain; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Bain; children, Anthony Boyd Tacey, Randy Tacey, Jeannie Brooks and Jimmy Tacey. Special thank you to her best friend Ardene Sullivan.
