Shirley-Anne Gerych

GERYCH, Shirley-Anne Christine - age 83, of Flint, died March 11, 2023. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. The family will receive friends from 2 PM - 3 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Shirley was born April 12, 1939 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Clarence and Blanche (Goodreau) Renaud. She married Tyrus A. Gerych, Jr. on June 6, 1959 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 2015. Shirley enjoyed traveling to casinos, walking and bowling. She loved spending time with her friends in card club. Surviving are: two children, Sherry Marion of Flint and Ty (Chris) Gerych III of Brighton; grandchildren, Madison and Jessica Gerych, Alexander Marion and Taylor Chipman; great-grandchildren, Elliott Marion, Hadley Chipman, and McKenna Chipman; sister, Judith Backiel.
