MALIK, Sheryl Lynn (Snyder) - Age 57, died Friday, February 25, 2011 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Visitation will be held 12-8 PM Monday, February 28, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Sheryl was born October 26, 1953 in Flint, the daughter of Charles and Imogene Snyder. She graduated from Carman High School and Baker College as a medical secretary. She was a loyal secretary and friend to Dr. Pavone for 34 years, retiring in 2010. She married Joseph Malik on March 4, 1979 in Durand, MI. She was as kind, giving, loving and as hard of a worker you could ever meet. She loved children, especially her nephews and nieces, her cats and all animals. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, which brought her much joy. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her loving and faithful husband, Joseph Malik; brother, Charles (Jane) Snyder; sister, Lynette (Gary) Grant; nephews and nieces, Charles III (Shelby) Snyder, Andrew (Kathryn) Snyder, Christopher Grant, Megan (Reid) Burrell, Kayla Grant, Nevaeh Snyder, Adelaide Burrell, Charles Snyder IV, Lorelai Burrell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank (Rita), Suzanne (Bob) Bartz, Bill Malik, Christine Malik, Bob (Loraine) Malik; Aunt Lorena and Uncle Paul.
