August 18, 1965 — January 3, 2006

HRITZ, Sherri Lynn  Age 40, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, January 03, 2006 at Genesys Hospice Care Center after a courageous battle with cancer. The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, January 7, 2006 at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, 2333 N. Elms Rd., Flushing with Fr. David Hannes celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a Panachida service (wake service) will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Genesys Hospice Care Center or to the Sherri Lynn Hritz Memorial Fund (for her childrens education). Sherri was born August 18, 1965 in Flint, the daughter of Frank and Audrey A. (Steel) Schulz. She married Paul Hritz on February 14, 1984. Sherri touched many lives with her care and devotion to volunteering with the American Cancer Society. Surviving are: loving husband, Paul of Mt. Morris with their two sons, Frank Austin and Mitchell Alexander and special family companion, Oliver the Schnauzer; mother, Audrey Schulz of Swartz Creek; sister, Linda Perry of Allendale, MI; brother, Michael Perry of Swartz Creek; niece, Lisa Golembiewski and family of Allendale, MI; many special caring relatives from both Sherri and Pauls families. She was preceded in death by: her father, Frank in 1974. A special thank you to all who helped Sherri during her 7 year battle with cancer, especially her mother, Audrey and sister, Linda.
