Sharon Thrasher

Thrasher, Sharon Annalee - Age 72, of Flint, died May 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, May 23 at West Carpenter Church of Christ G-2296 W. Carpenter Rd. Flint. (It is requested that masks be worn and social distancing practiced. ) Burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-6 PM Sunday, May 23 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to Muscular Dystrophy Association, American Kidney Fund, or American Diabetes Association. Sharon was born August 14, 1948 in Flint, the daughter of James Oliver and Patricia Louise (Metevier) McChristion. She was a graduate of  Bendle High School. She married Ellis Ray Thrasher on August 19, 1967 in Grand Blanc. Sharon was a homemaker. She was also a member of West Carpenter Road  Church of Christ. Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ellis; children, Ellis R. Thrasher Jr. of Flint and Barbara Sue (Neil) Estes of Davison; grandchildren, Donovan Estes and Emily Estes;  brother, Walter L. (Sheila) Willett of Burton; sister-in-law,Charlene McChristion of Burton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James McChristion.
