Sharon Tanner

TANNER, Sharon Jean - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, October 16, 2021. Per her request cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Sharon was born October 31, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Delmar H. and Esther (Cherrington) Gundry. She was a 1955 graduate of Flint Central High School and attended the University of Michigan, Flint. She married Jack Kenneth Tanner July 7, 1956 in Angola, IN. She had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 63 years, coming from Beecher. Sharon was the manager of Dale's Health Food in Flint. She enjoyed needle point, crocheting, knitting, and clay modeling.

Surviving are: her husband, Jack; children, Carla Jean (Phil) Kinzie of Durand, Brian Scott (Wendy) Tanner of Flint Township, and Jacqueline Jean (Drew) Corwin of Grand Rapids; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
