SMIECINSKI, Sharon K. - Age 77, of Linden, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link on Sharon's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) . Pastor Michael Jankowski officiating. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet or Tunnel to Towers. 

Sharon was born February 19, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Virgil Harry and Florence Martha (Petts) Zoll. She was a 1965 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. Following graduation Sharon worked in various settings within the medical field for many years. 

On February 21, 1976 she married the love of her life, Kirk Gerard Smiecinski, and have resided in Linden ever since. Together they raised four children, Christopher, Kevin, Gregg, and Tricia. 

Sharon always had a love of the outdoors. Living on Lobdell Lake she loved being on the water. In the winter the family would travel to their cottage in Brimley for weekend snowmobiling adventures. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, planning parties, entertaining and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She welcomed all into her life with open arms. Sharon was always generous and would do anything she could to help those around her. 

She touched the lives of so many people. She will truly be missed and will never, ever be forgotten.

Surviving are: her husband, Kirk; children, Kevin Smiecinski of Linden, Gregg (Linda) Smiecinski of Linden and Tricia (Justin) Blevins of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Travis, Emily, Blake, Lexi, Barron, Kiley, Tanner, Gavin, Lexi and Ava; sister, Arlene Pollard (Gary Susek) of Fenton; and nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Molly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Florence Zoll; and her son, Christopher Smiecinski. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
