KIST, Sharon L. Skinner, Badour of Flint- Lapeer, passed away September 21, 2020 at home. Cremation has taken place, there will be no service. Sharon left us suddenly, we will miss her always.
Sharon was born February 24, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to Joseph and Margie Skinner. She lived her entire life in Flint and Lapeer. She attended Flint schools. She married Robert Badour and together they had five children. Sharon worked at several General Motors facilities while raising her children.
Sharon was usually the funniest person in the room. She was an excellent cook and passed her cooking skills onto her children and family members. She was clever and talented. She could sew and do needlework beautifully, and she made the best Halloween costumes for her kids, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by her children, Michael Badour of Davison, Virginia Badour Cream (Chris) of Grand Blanc, Susan Badour of Lapeer, Jon Badour (Ronda) of Waterford; four grandchildren, Amber Badour, Nicholas Badour (Heather), Melanie Fenslau (Jake), Caleb Badour; two great grandchildren, Myles and Leo; brothers and sisters, J. David Skinner (Rose) of South Carolina, Jon Skinner (Cathy) of Kalamazoo, Virginia Stebbins of Flint, Mary McComb of Howell; and 14 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Robert “Bobby” Badour, her parents, and the father of her children, Robert R. Badour. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
