JACKSON, Sharon Louise, (Genore-Heard) age 69, of Flint, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2011 at First General Baptist Church, 1102 W. Hemphill Rd., Flint. Rev. Ed Johnson officiating. The family will recieve friends 10:00 a.m. Monday at church until time of service. Interment will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be Saturday 6:00-8:00 p.m.; Sunday 1:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Donations may be made to First General Baptist Church. Sharon was born October 15, 1941 in Marquette the daughter of the late William and Margaret Heard. In 1959, Sharon graduated from John D. Pierce High School in Marquette. She married Gary Jackson in Davison on December 29, 1985. Sharon was employed as a dispatcher for Center Service of America until her retirement in 2000. She was a honest lady, who would be truthful in all circumstances. Sharon lived her life around her children and grandchildren, she loved them dearly. Surviving are her husband, Gary of Flint; 2 sons, Ronald Genore (Brenda) and Joseph Genore both of Flint; 6 stepchildren, Gary Jackson Jr. (Linda) of TN, Jeanette Jackson of TN, Laura Kay Jackson of Traverse City, William Jackson of TN, Timothy Jackson of Flint, Connie White of Otisville; 7 grandchildren, Morgan, Brandon, Autumn, Ronnie, Sissy, Michelle, William Jr.; 2 sisters, Judy Stadler of Allegan, Beverly Johnson of Skandia.
