Sharon Lee Clark

CLARK, Sharon Lee - Age 85, of Flint, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Prior to the service Saturday, visitation will take place at 12:00 PM. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Crohn's Foundation.

Sharon was born on January 7, 1939 in Flint the daughter of the late William and Leota (Haiss) Baker. She graduated from Holy Redeemer Catholic School, class of 1956. After she continued her education by going to Comptometer School. Sharon and William Clark were united in marriage on June 10, 1957 in Angola, Indiana. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 17, 2019. She worked as a secretary for over 40 years at C&C Custom Builders before her retirement in 2004. As a teenager, Sharon worked at the Flint drive in theater and would spend her summers in Traverse City picking cherries. Sharon loved her children and grandchildren above all. In her free time, she enjoyed flowers and gardening. 

Sharon is survived by her loving daughters, Laurie (Ron) Clement, and Elizabeth Clark; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary (Mike) Baran.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, Bruce Clark; daughter, Michelle Buckmeier; grandson, Jeremy Strauer; sisters, Joan Baker, Pat Aldrich and Evelyn Mills; and very special grandmother, Josephine Haiss. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
