CARMODY, Sharon L. (Pray) - Age 62, of Fenton, died Wednesday, December 14,2005 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2005 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide, Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment to follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton from 2-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday and at the church from 1 PM until time of service Friday. A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign or American Cancer Society for breast cancer research. Mrs. Carmody was born February 7,1943 the daughter of Myron and Pauline (Loomis) Pray and had resided in Fenton most of her life. She married Daniel Francis Carmody on September 22,1973 in Fenton and he preceded her in death on November 18, 2000. She was a 1961 graduate of Fenton High School. Mrs. Carmody was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the St. Catherine Guild. She was also a member of TOPS. Surviving are: siblings, Dawn Badder of Flint, Jack Pray and wife Bonnie of Fenton, Jill Gilbert of Durand, M. L. Pray and fiancee Mary Ross of Davison; aunt, Gertrude Easton of Fenton; special friend, Dr. Robert Paul Adams of Brighton; special cousin, Sandra Corcoran and family; many nieces, nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nancy Ferguson.
