Sharleen Pajtas

January 18, 1940 — February 22, 2022

Linden

PAJTAS, Sharleen Deanna, age 82, of Linden, formerly of Fenton, died peacefully at McLaren Hospital after a short illness on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.  A Memorial Mass and interment will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, March 10, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. David Harvey celebrant.

Shar was a loving, giving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and faithful friend and confidant to many, who loved reading her 'Jesus Calling' devotional, watching sports, golfing, baking her famous kolaches, playing cards and doting on her husband, sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was born January 18, 1940 in Flint, Michigan, daughter of Carl and Marguerite (Burnham) Stubblefield.  She graduated from Mary Crapo High School and married Robert 'Bob' Pajtas on June 6, 1959.  They celebrated 56 years of marriage in 2015 before Bob's death.  Through that time Shar participated in the family business, Pajtas Oil Company, and raised four sons before going back to college and launching an Interior Decorating Studio and Interior Design Career that spanned three decades.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton, and with Bob, taught marriage classes to many young parish couples. Her quiet faith was exemplified in her last days by her confident assurance that she was "going to see Jesus".  She endured many Little League and football games, wrestling matches, Scouting Awards Ceremonies, camping and snow-mobile trips and other escapades of her boys, while always encouraging them to realize their dreams and pursue their passions.

She leaves to cherish her memory four sons: Scott (Lisa), Tim, Jeff (fiancé Barb Rys), and Bob (special friend Stephanie Johnson); six grandchildren: Sarah (Matt) Scott, Catherine( Eric) Ensley, Shannon (John) Siira, Michael Pajtas, Cody Pajtas and Chad Pajtas; and eight great grandchildren: James, Grace, Adam and Hannah Scott, Amelia and Abigail Ensley and Addison and Mason Siira.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob and siblings Pauline Hawley, Maxine Frost, Irene Bowles, and Carl Stubblefield.
