Shannon was born August 13, 1947 in Dexter, Missouri, the son of James C. and Winifred (Morgan) Elder. He married Joy Herman on May 4, 1981 in Las Vegas. Shannon worked for C&M Wire Rope. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joy; daughter, Rebecca (Eric) Flegel; 2 sons, Roger Limoseth (Elizabeth Richardson), John Limoseth; daughter-in-law, Renae Limoseth; 6 grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Limoseth, Jessica (Mitchell) Murray, Derek Limoseth, Danielle Limoseth, Christian Limoseth, and Brittney Limoseth; great grandchildren, Blair and Miles; siblings, Phillip Richard (Lisa) Elder, David Elder, Phyllis (Bill) Horde, Joanna Couch; several nieces and nephews.
