Shannon Crookedacre

Crookedacre, Shannon Lee - Age 56, of Flint passed away August 17, 2017 of a Glioblastoma, stage 4 brain cancer which he battled for 18 months. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Saturday, August 26 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Visitation will be 10:00AM until the time of service. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills immediately following services. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Shannon was born April 10, 1961 in Lapeer the son of Leonard Charles and Carmen Colleen (Jones) Crookedacre. He graduated from Lapeer West High School in 1979. On August 13, 1988 he married Louise Johnson. Shannon worked for Northgate in Flint for 7 years. He was a member of Family Campers and RV'ers (FCRV), since 1999. Shannon enjoyed camping, playing sports and karaoke. He is survived by his wife, Louise; daughter, Leanne (Adam) Sackrider; son, Shawn Crookedacre; parents, Leonard (Carmen) Crookedacre; sister, Sheila (Fred) Anstett; aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his uncle, PJ Jones.
