Selma MALLON

MALLON, Selma - Age 95, of Flint, died Friday, June 4, 2010 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 7, 2010 at Machpelah Cemetery. Rabbi Karen Companez officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Congregation Beth Israel or Genesys Hospice. Selma was born July 29, 1914 in Detroit, the daughter of Isral and Lilly (Jacobson) Stocker. She was married to Jerome J. Mallon, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Mallon was a member of Congregation Beth Israel. She had live in Flint since 1944. Surviving are: son, Dr. Harold Mallon and wife Marjorie of Grand Blanc; daughters, Esther and husband Dr. Barry Sherman of San Francisco, CA, Gail and husband Stephen Neuman of Buffalo, NY; 11 grandchildren, Dr. Lawrence Mallon and wife Dr. Yvonne Mallon of Muskegon, Dr. William Mallon and wife Dr. Genevieve Mallon of Vero Beach, FL, Bonnie and husband Larry Rosenthal, Bruce and wife Erin Sherman all of Arlington, VA, David Sherman, Marian Sherman, Gregory and wife Trisha Sherman all of San Francisco, CA, Holly and husband Gordon Croft, Debbie Neuman all of New York City, Cindy and husband Dave Cheesebro of Fenton, Chari Schweinsberg of Flint; former daughter-in-law, Judy Segal of Boca Raton, FL; 11 great-grandchildren; very special friends Dr. Archie and Pat Attarian.
