Scott Simpson

Simpson, Scott Edward   - Age 55, of  Flint, died February 19, 2023 at McLaren Hospital in Flint.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday February 25, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (The funeral may be viewed by livestream at Scott’s page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.) Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of the funeral at 2 PM on Saturday February 25. Those desiring may make contributions to the Trask Major Simpson Endowment Fund (checks should be made payable to Court Street United Methodist Church with Trask Simpson in the memo.)

Scott was born May 9, 1967 in Flint. He married Pamela Fowler on September 12, 1986. Scott was employed by Erickson and Lindstrom (E & L) and Laborers Local 1075 before retiring in April 2017. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Boy Scouts (Troop 31), and driving the Court Street United Methodist Church van. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially at the family cabin. Scott never met a stranger and always knew the best places to eat in any town.

Surviving are: his wife of 36 years, Pamela; children, Skyler Simpson, Zach (Renee) Simpson, Shannel Simpson (Dustin), and Chaz Simpson; grandchildren, Kegan and Sylvia Simpson, and Leah Dennis; parents, Bonnie and Kermit Simpson and Ron Andrews; brother, Ryan Simpson; special nephew Robert; and special friend Ormond Smith.

He was preceded in death by his son Trask Major Simpson; grandparents, Ernestine and Dave Goetsch, Edward Crane, Grandma Andrews, George Gazell, and Montie Gazell; as well as his in-laws, Diana and Robert Fowler; and brother Chris Andrews.
