Scott Patrick

PATRICK, Scott Andrew Arthur - Age 20, of Lennon, went to be with our Father, Friday, February 1, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 4:00 PM Wednesday at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek.  Monsignor Richard Groshek and Fr. Tom Helfrich co-celebrating.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 5-9 PM Monday, 4-7 PM Tuesday, 1-3:30 PM Wednesday; a rosary will be prayed 6PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Jeanne Loraine Downs Memorial Fund.  Scott was born February 9, 1987 in Flint, the son of Melvin G. and Jeanne Loraine (Bachmann) Patrick.  He has resided in Lennon since 1992, coming from Flushing Township.  He was a 2005 graduate of Powers Catholic High School and was currently attending Siena Heights University, of which he loved dearly and was a Kairos counselor.  He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church where he was an altar server for many years and the Knights Of Columbus. He was a re-enactor of the 5th Texas Co. E.  Scott was a loving, caring, faithful, son, brother and friend. Surviving are: brother, Sean Patrick of Lennon; father, Melvin G. Patrick of Tower; 2 sisters, Lesley (Gary)Haxer, Kristen Patrick; grandparents, Clare and Lula Patrick; aunt, Margaret Won of Flint; many other aunts and, uncles, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Loraine Downs-Patrick.  Online condolences and tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
