Scott Douglas LaPorte - Age 56, of Flint, entered eternal life on Thursday, July 3rd with his family by his side.
Scott was born August 2, 1963, he was most known for his heart of gold but he was a man of many talents. He was an avid pool player, in which he excelled, he loved fishing and camping also. Scott was always known for having anything and everything anyone needed, especially in his pocket when he was on the go. He had such a superior love for God, his family, friends, and our country. Surviving are: Daughter, Shellina (Matt) Poirier of Munger, MI, Son, Brandon (Brittany) LaPorte of Nashville, TN, Stepson, Christopher Wysocki (Siera) of Flint, Mother, Sue (Bill) Reed, Father, Jack (Patsy) LaPorte; Grandchildren, Caleb, Abigail, Asher, Gabriella; Siblings, Danny (Linda) LaPorte, Chantell (Darren) Slupka, Vicki (Jim) Perkins, Tom (Juanita) Sape, Max LaPorte, Joe (Sarah) Youmans, Cindy Clarke, Jodi (Kenny) Matthews, Karrie (Mike) Zielesch; , his very special friend Kay Cove; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by wife Bee Wysocki, grandparents on both his mother's side and father's side, his aunt Sally and Uncle Cal; and niece, Mindy Saxton; grandson, Ian LaPorte.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, July 7 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton Street, Davison with burial following at Meadowview Memorial Gardens in Davison. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the service time at the church. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.
